Thank you for visiting my site. Feel free to look around. My name is Ruel Felipe, a photographer from Eastern Texas. I grew up in the Philippines and relocated to the U.S. in the spring of 1986. I lived in San Jose California before finally settling down in East Texas in 2001. I have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts major in advertising and a minor in photography. I've worked as a Graphic Artist for over 20 years. I've always been involved with photography throughout my entire career as a Graphic Artist. I consider myself lucky to have the opportunity to work with all the places that are current in technology.

I served as the President of East Texas Professinal Photographers Forum in 2010. I've been the Official photographer for East Texas Yamboree since 2007.

I began my photography career when I purchased my first digital SLR camera back in 2004 mainly to use for my freelance works. I used it from photographing baits to antique guns to furnitures. Then I started photographing people for various church groups & companies. When I was asked to do my first wedding assignment, I was immediately hooked to it. I loved the challenge. I started doing it for a while on weekends to supplement my income. When demands started to overwhelm me, I made a very bold move, I decided to pursue photography as my main job and Graphic Arts as a secondary source of income. Although I had a very rough start, I now feel like my business is starting to take off. I continue to strive for quality and continue to educate myself with the latest trend in photography as well as the latest technology.
